Sunsmile Ito: Daily Nursing Care
We offer comprehensive programs including daily creative activities and community outings in our fully accessible facility. Our barrier-free interior features wheelchair-accessible sinks and restrooms. Our bathing facilities include private, lift-assisted, and stretcher baths to ensure safe and comfortable bathing for people with severe physical disabilities. We serve nutritionally balanced meals and have nurses available to accommodate those requiring medical care (please inquire).
Sunsmile Ito: Continuous Support for Employment Services (Type B)
Our services help persons with disabilities thrive in society through individualized support focused on engaging in work and training, establishing healthy routines, developing social skills, building relationships, and engaging in leisure activities. Our primary work involves farming, including cultivating shiitake mushrooms in climate-controlled greenhouses and growing rice and vegetables using natural farming methods without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. We also produce value-added products like dried shiitake mushrooms.
Sunsmile Ito: Short-Stay Service
This short-stay accommodation is available for up to two guests with disabilities. Most guests using the service begin with pickup at home in the morning, participation in our daily nursing care program, overnight stay, continued participation in the daily nursing care program the following day, and returning home by evening.
Sunsmile Ito Kids: Child Developmental Support
The key to effective therapeutic education for children with developmental disabilities lies in understanding each child deeply, tailoring our approach to their unique needs, and setting and sharing growth goals. We focus on understanding each child’s specific situation to help them adapt to group settings, acquire basic life skills, and learn effective ways of interacting within small groups. The program provides daily creative activities, community outings, well-equipped facilities, and welcoming staff. Our facilities are barrier-free and accessible for children in wheelchairs. We also have nurses available to accommodate children requiring medical care (please inquire).
